Description
Serious game
Movie Logic develops custom serious games and cultural gamification solutions for museums, schools, public institutions, and educational projects. By leveraging advanced digital technologies—such as Unreal Engine, Unity, augmented reality, and interactive storytelling—we transform historical, artistic, and scientific content into engaging, game-based experiences.
We design educational and narrative-driven video games that increase audience engagement and make culture accessible, inclusive, and memorable. Each project is developed to stimulate active participation, facilitate learning, and enhance cultural heritage through the principles of learning by doing.
Our cultural serious games can be experienced on:
- mobile devices (iOS and Android apps)
- on-site interactive stations (touchscreens or gaming stations)
- web platforms accessible via browser
Through customized gamification, it is possible to create narrative paths with progressive difficulty, quizzes, challenges, badges, and rewards—enhancing the visitor experience in museums, archaeological parks, and educational environments.
With Movie Logic, every visit becomes an adventure, every piece of content comes to life, and every user becomes the protagonist.
Game format
Learning History
Registered educational format
Learning History is a registered educational game format designed to transform cultural sites into interactive digital experiences. The game follows a dreamlike narrative structure: a child, while dreaming, finds themselves exploring real historical environments, embarking on a journey of discovery, learning, and play.

Faithful reconstruction of historical environments
Cultural sites such as medieval castles, Roman domus, and museum complexes are faithfully reconstructed in 3D graphics, with the support of scientific consultants, historians, and archaeologists. Architecture, furnishings, and period objects are modeled with rigorous philological accuracy to ensure authenticity and educational value.

Interaction with historical and narrative elements
Each room contains interactive elements—artifacts, furnishings, architectural structures, and everyday objects. Interaction activates informational content in the form of text, animated infographics, or videos, allowing players to learn through exploration and curiosity.

Guided progression & game mechanics
Game progression is structured around rooms and missions: players cannot advance until they have interacted with a defined number of elements. The game is designed primarily for children and young audiences, while remaining adaptable to different educational and museum contexts, offering an engaging, accessible, and memorable experience.

Active learning & engagement
Learning History applies the principles of learning by doing and cultural gamification, making the player an active protagonist in the experience. While primarily designed for children and young people, the format adapts to various educational and museum settings, delivering an inclusive, engaging, and memorable learning journey.
