The Movie Logic was commissioned to develop a Proof of Concept (PoC) for an interactive totem aimed at enhancing accessibility and engaging interaction for deaf visitors, while providing a personalized experience for all users. The main goal of the project was to create a system capable of projecting a virtual character into the real environment, allowing deaf users to interact and communicate with them. The interactive characters in the system welcomed visitors through their volumetric form, then collaboratively constructed an interactive path with the user, simultaneously communicating using Italian Sign Language (LIS).

Through specific customization, the interactive totem offered an inclusive and engaging solution to enhance cultural experiences for deaf visitors. The PoC successfully demonstrated the ability to create an interactive environment that caters to the specific needs of deaf users, enabling them to actively participate and fully comprehend the content through sign language. This project marked a significant advancement in providing accessible and engaging cultural experiences for all visitors.
