Movie Logic is part of the stakeholder network of the Lazio Technology District for Cultural Heritage, a recognition that strengthens our commitment to research, innovation, and cultural enhancement through digital technologies.

The DTC represents one of the most important national entities for the development and application of technological solutions in the cultural heritage sector. It brings together, within a single network, five public universities, three national research bodies—including CNR, ENEA, and INFN—as well as innovative companies, applied research centers, and cultural institutions.
Within this ecosystem, Movie Logic joins a permanent working group operating within the District’s Center of Excellence, with a consultative and informative role, contributing to the identification of needs and opportunities related to applied research and advanced training.

Joining the DTC stakeholder network reinforces our company’s vocation to promote shared projects that combine culture, technology, and innovation. This strategic public–private alliance aims to generate value for local territories by supporting the digital transformation of cultural sites through advanced tools such as educational video games, mobile apps, virtual museums, sensory installations, and interactive web platforms.

This collaboration will allow us to make our expertise available to support the development of sustainable and accessible models of cultural engagement, strengthening the link between scientific research, creative enterprise, and cultural heritage. A further step forward in our mission to make culture increasingly interactive, inclusive, and connected to communities.

Movie Logic has successfully completed the project funded by the Disegni+ 2022 call promoted by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (formerly MISE). The project focused on the development of an innovative and accessible gaming station designed for use in museums and cultural environments.

The initiative centered on the design and realization of a physical structure capable of hosting iPads and tablets for the use of educational video games and interactive applications developed by Movie Logic. The station was conceived according to universal design principles, featuring three different height levels to ensure accessibility for children, adults, and people with motor disabilities, making digital interaction available to everyone.

One of the project’s distinctive features is the integration of a multi-device charging system, designed to safely, efficiently, and invisibly power multiple devices simultaneously, simplifying technical management for museums and cultural institutions.

The project represents a natural evolution of Movie Logic’s mission: combining design, technology, and inclusivity to deliver engaging, interactive, and accessible cultural experiences.

This solution has been tested in museum contexts and integrates seamlessly with our serious games and educational applications already developed for tablets, offering an ideal environment for the digital enhancement of cultural heritage.

Movie Logic is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the regional grant provided under the Start Up DTC Laziocall, an initiative aimed at supporting high-tech companies engaged in the development of innovative solutions for Cultural Heritage and Cultural Activities. The project, carried out throughout 2023, represented a key milestone in the growth path of our startup and led to the creation of one of our most representative platforms: Itinero.

The objective of the project was to develop a digital tool capable of guiding visitors, tourists, and citizens in discovering territories and cultural heritage in a new, simple, and deeply engaging way. Itinero was conceived precisely with this vision in mind, introducing a fully innovative approach to experiencing places through a virtual guide character able to narrate the territory, anticipate points of interest, and orient users toward the most suitable routes based on their needs.

The platform offers a dynamic and personalized system that allows users to explore a territory through a narrative built around their preferences. Itinero provides information on the history of places, cultural points of interest, ongoing initiatives, and available services, becoming a valuable support tool for those approaching a new site or wishing to further explore an area they have already visited. Its technological infrastructure has been designed as a true digital tour operator, capable of creating tailored thematic itineraries, suggesting subsequent stops, and guiding visitors throughout the entire exploration experience, ensuring that each itinerary can be completed within the planned timeframe.

The regional grant made it possible to develop a solid, flexible, and innovation-oriented platform, designed to enhance cultural heritage through a modern and accessible mode of engagement. Today, Itinero represents a key element of Movie Logic’s mission: leveraging digital technologies to bring people closer to culture, improve the quality of the visitor experience, and provide intelligent tools to support institutions, organizations, and territories seeking to renew the way they communicate and welcome audiences.

The awarding of the Start Up DTC Lazio grant confirms the value of our vision and opens up new development opportunities in a constantly evolving sector, where innovation and culture can work together to create increasingly rich, personalized, and engaging experiences.
